South Africa commemorates Women’s Month in August as a tribute to the more than 20 000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on 9 August 1956 in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women. The Government of South Africa declared August women’s month and 9th August is celebrated annually as Women’s Day.
To celebrate women’s month, particularly women working in the property industry, Quoin Online hosted a roundtable discussion featuring SIX prominent women in the South African property industry. Ranging from junior level to top management.
The aim of the roundtable discussion was to bring a unique group of women together and unpack how everyone first entered the property industry, get to know a little bit about their backgrounds and what their take is on the future of property in South Africa.
