Lisebo started her property journey at the University of Cape Town where she graduated with an Undergraduate and Honours degree in BSc Property Studies (2011).
Her fascination with PropTech led her to MDA Property Systems (now MRI Property Central) where, over 5 years, she became a senior consultant working with small to major listed property companies. She worked across multiple disciplines from leasing, facilities management, budgets, cashbook reconciliations and asset registration & accounting to name a few.
Lisebo then became an asset manager at Texton Property Fund for 4 years where she looked after a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, across different sectors, spread out around South Africa. From working with all types of tenants and leasing (through direct deals and brokers), she disposed of non-core properties of different sectors and sizes, oversaw major property renovations, then persevered through Covid 19 and the looting/vandalization of a retail property in Durban during the 2021 unrest while keeping the portfolio profitable.
